Tee Off at the Second Annual ANF Charitable Fund Golf Tournament

ANF, a full-service construction and development firm with a strong commitment to community engagement, announces the second annual ANF Charitable Fund Golf Tournament taking place on Friday, December 19th, at the prestigious Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation, FL. This year’s event promises an exciting day of golf, networking, and philanthropy, bringing together golfers and business professionals to raise funds to support local charities.

“We’ve always believed in making a positive impact in our community, giving back and supporting causes that make a real difference,” said Al Fernandez, CEO of ANF. “Building on last year’s successful tournament, we are aiming to make this one more impactful for both our participants and our community.”

The tournament invites local industry leaders, business professionals, and community members to come together for a day of golf, camaraderie, and charity. Participants will enjoy a full day of activities beginning with guest arrival and registration at 7:00 a.m., followed by an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. The day will culminate with a luncheon, awards ceremony, and raffle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit various charities within the local community, ensuring that the event not only provides a memorable experience but also contributes to meaningful causes.

The inaugural tournament in 2024 raised $190,000 with proceeds benefiting the following organizations: ABC Cares Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, American Jewish Committee, Bounce Back from Cancer, Boys and Girls Club, Baptist Health Foundation, Broward Health Foundation, Dan Marino Foundation, Farm Share, Gildas Race, Habitat for Humanity of Broward, Harvest Drive, Hope for Hungry Destin Initiative, Jewish Family Services, New Land Theatricals, Saint Benedict’s Episcopal Church, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Voices for Florida Keys Children, Women of Tomorrow, to name a few.

This golf tournament is organized by the established ANF Charitable Fund, which was created under the leadership of Alberto Fernandez, Nelson Fernandez, and Alberto Gil through the Community Foundation of Broward. The ANF Charitable Fund is dedicated to supporting local non-profits focused on critical areas such as education and employment, economic inequality, and health, well-being, and the environment. By hosting this golf tournament, ANF aims to generate awareness and support for these causes, furthering its commitment to making a positive impact in the South Florida community.
