Nova Southeastern University Central Plant

The Nova Southeastern University Central Plant was the new construction of a 2-story, 48,000 square foot project with associated site work. At full capacity (70,000 ton-hours), the Thermal Energy Storage (TES) system is the one of the largest in the world. This project also included auger cast piles, precast concrete joists, cast in place concrete walls, tilt-up walls, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, EIFS, waterproofing, caulking, spray applied insulation, roofing, overhead doors, finishes, specialties, elevators, underground fuel tanks, generators, transformers, electrical switchgear, centrifugal water chillers, heat exchangers, thermal storage coils, condensers and chilled water and cooling towers.
