Memorial Hospital West Parking Garage

This parking garage was completed in December 2018 on the Memorial Hospital West Campus in Pembroke Pines, FL. It is part of Memorial Healthcare System’s Master Plan whose goal is to alleviate a large need for additional spaces due to an exceptional growth the campus has experienced over the last decade. The garage totaling 594,483 square-feet and providing 1,563 new parking spaces on 7 levels, has connecting ramps which bridges the existing parking garage and pedestrian bridge with the new garage.

The project was implemented using a multi-phase approach to maximize parking during construction and to ensure the hospital’s heavy pedestrian traffic was accommodated during the campus construction project. In addition, our construction team developed pedestrian-friendly way-finding signage to accommodate patients and visitors during each phase of construction.

As we did with the previous garage we built on this campus, the facade incorporated architectural precast concrete color matched to complement the existing hospital. All construction occurred on an existing healthcare campus (one of the busiest in Broward County).
