Memorial Hospital West Vertical Bed Tower Expansion

Three-story vertical expansion of the existing Bed Tower located at Memorial Hospital West, which ANF had previously expanded in 2011. Now a 7-story tower, this expansion added 96 patient rooms, bariatric rooms, VIP rooms, IMCU rooms, isolation rooms, nurses’ stations, and patient and staff support functioning areas. This was one of the most highly technical and complex project’s ANF has built, working in an occupied and functioning hospital. It was critically important to maintain all existing hospital operations during construction while removing the existing roofing membrane, including a bone marrow trans¬plant unit on the 4th floor.
