Memorial Hospital West Graduate Medical Education

An addition to the Memorial Hospital West campus, the Graduate Medical Education (GME) building houses a multitude of spaces to service hospital residents and staff. Featuring a multi-purpose 180-seat auditorium, classrooms with folding partitions, resident work study area with adjacent on-call sleep rooms, faculty work area with offices and conference rooms, GME office suite, a global business office suite, Academic Affairs office suite, Medical Affairs office suite, break rooms, housekeeping space, new restrooms, mechanical and electrical rooms, IT closet, plus expansion of the existing doctors’ dining area and servery, and expansion of the existing public dining areas. Work also included connecting the main hospital corridor with lobby circulation, demolition of 18 patient rooms on the 2nd floor, and demolition and replacement of the existing east entry drive-thru.
