Douglas Gardens Residences

Douglas Gardens Residences is slated to transform the existing Miami Jewish Health (MJH) 25-acre Douglas Gardens North Campus into a mixed-income community adeptly integrating healthcare and housing. The development will consist of 410 fully ADA-accessible units, reserved for residents aged 62 and above, ranging from studio apartments to two-bedroom offerings and making it the largest affordable senior housing project in the State of Florida. Phase IV includes construction of a 139,446 SF building to house 210 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. Phase VI will create an additional 200 units across 140,790 SF consisting of one and two-bedrooms.

A total of 390 units will be set aside for age and income-qualifying residents, while the remaining 20 units will be available at market-rate prices. A 15,500-square-foot medical facility will also be housed on the campus along with an adult day health center under MJH’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). A robust suite of lifestyle amenities will also be available including a picturesque pond complemented by walking paths, numerous indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a sizeable fitness center, a business center equipped with computer stations, craft, and game rooms, a pet grooming station, and a library.
