ANF Group, Inc. completes the new Rooftop Helipad for UHealth’s University of Miami Hospital

ANF Group, Inc., South Florida’s Premier General Contractor, completed the new Rooftop Helipad at UHealth’s University of Miami, in Miami, Florida. The team which consisted of David Trujillo, Senior Project Manager, Jose Fernandez, Superintendent and Debbie Coughlin, Project Engineer worked diligently along with a great support team of subcontractors and very hands-on Owners’ Representatives from the University of Miami, Mr. Juan Carlos Endara and Architect Libardo Hernandez from Gresham, Smith and Partners. “Without our great support team, we would not have been able to complete this project on time”, says David Trujillo of ANF Group, Inc.

The University of Miami changed the face of modern healthcare in South Florida when it purchased Cedars Medical Center in late 2007. The 560-bed facility was renamed University of Miami Hospital and became the region’s first university-owned, multi-specialty, acute care hospital and the flagship facility of UHealth – University of Miami Health System.

Today at University of Miami hospital, physicians on the faculty of the Miller School of Medicine partner with community physicians to plan and provide care, investigate new treatments still in the clinical research phase, and utilize the most advanced technologies available.
