ANF Group Joins the Fight to End Blood Cancers

Formerly the iconic Students of the Year campaign, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Student Visionaries of the Year is a groundbreaking philanthropic leadership development program for high school students. Every year, courageous young leaders embark on an exciting 7-week journey with a goal to create a world without blood cancers, striving to earn the Student Visionary of the Year title. ANF Group was a proud sponsor of this campaign, having experienced the impacts of blood cancers first-hand.

On Saturday, March 25th, the Fighting For A Cure 2.0 team consisting of Mick Hooley and Paige Hudson took the 2023 Student Visionaries of the Year title having raised over $151,000!  In total, the South Florida student visionaries raised a combined $654,167 throughout the 2023 campaign to help support LLS’ research, education, support and advocacy efforts.

Dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), is the world’s largest voluntary (nonprofit) health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services. Since 1949, LLS has invested nearly $1.6 billion in groundbreaking research to advance breakthrough therapies for blood cancer patients, pioneering many of today’s most innovative approaches.

Congratulations to all the teams!
