University Station

University Station is a high-quality mixed-use development in the city’s historic downtown consisting of three 8-story buildings, including two residential towers and a standalone parking garage with 635 spaces, of which 365 spaces will serve the rail station. The development will offer 216 one- and two-bedroom apartments, more than 2,000 square feet of commercial and retail space, and 12,210 square feet for the new home for Barry University’s College of Nursing and Health Services. All the apartments will be reserved for individuals and families with incomes ranging from 22% to 80% of the area median income. The project also includes demolition of two existing buildings and miscellaneous ancillary structures, including an elevated bridge between the buildings to help residents cross Taylor St.
